CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. — Residents will have a new opportunity to stay active this summer as Crawford County on the Move returns for an eight-week program focused on health, education and walking.
The free program, organized by the Crawford County Health Department, will begin the week of July 12 and take place in four communities: Prairie du Chien, Eastman, Seneca and Gays Mills. Participants will meet weekly for a short health education session followed by a group walk. Daily walking logs and weekly health tips will also be provided.
Scheduled meeting times and locations include:

Seneca, Thursdays at 6 p.m. starting July 16 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Registration is open and free. Participants can sign up online at the Crawford County website under “Events and Community Education” or call the health department.
Organizers say the program is designed to help residents stay motivated, connect with others and build healthier habits through regular physical activity.
