Crawford County Health Department is pleased to announce the launch of a housing webpage. This newly added section of the county website, titled “Find Your Place in Crawford County,” provides residents with a consolidated, easy-to-use directory of local housing resources.
The online resource provides links and guidance on:
- Rental property listings
- Tips for Applying
- Financial assistance Programs
- Homeownership Information
- And more
The Health Department recognizes that safe, stable housing is foundational to public health and overall well-being. When individuals and families have a safe place to call home, they are better able to focus on work, education, relationships, and building strong futures. Recognizing the importance of this basic need, the Health Department worked with local organizations to bring together a wide range of housing related information in one accessible location.
“We know that if a family doesn’t have a secure roof over their head, it impacts everything – their health, their children’s education, and their ability to thrive,” said Monica Horner, Health Navigator of Crawford County Health Department.
