Crawford County Crime Stoppers seeks tips in Bridgeport hit‑and‑run

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit‑and‑run crash that damaged a mailbox and fire number sign on Maple Lane Monday afternoon.

Deputies say the incident occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 2. The vehicle involved left the scene before law enforcement arrived. The damage was reported at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Crawford County Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information about this case or other crimes to call 326‑8933 or 1‑866‑779‑PAYS. Callers may remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 may be issued for tips that lead to an arrest, charges being filed, or the recovery of stolen property.
