WESTBY, Wis. — The Coulee Antique Engine Club will host its 55th annual show from July 31 to Aug. 2, highlighting Allis-Chalmers machinery and vintage power sports.
The three-day event will take place two miles north of Westby on State Road 27. Admission to the grounds is $7 per day or $10 for the entire weekend.
Visitors can expect a wide array of agricultural history and entertainment, including live demonstrations of threshing, plowing, and sawmill operations. The weekend will also feature an antique tractor pull, a tractor parade, an anvil shoot, a flea market, kids activities, and lawn and garden displays. Additionally, a car show is scheduled for Sunday morning.
Food and refreshments will be served at the on-site Hit & Miss Café, with special offerings including sweet corn, pie, and ice cream.
The Coulee Antique Engine Club held its first official meeting in 1971, growing from a small group of vintage machinery enthusiasts who originally gathered in a pharmacy parking lot in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Today, the club has approximately 220 members dedicated to seeing the past come to life.
