Car strikes tree in town of Webster crash

VIROQUA, Wis. – The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office reports on September 24, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a juvenile was driving west along Avalanche Road in the town of Webster when the driver failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection with Vance Hill Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle, the vehicle left the roadway, traveled through a field, and struck a tree causing disabling damage to the vehicle.

The driver left the scene and did not report the crash to law enforcement. the juvenile’s parent reported the crash after the juvenile returned home. Seat belts were used, airbags were deployed, and the parent took the juvenile driver to a local hospital for medical evaluation. Sleepy Hollow towing assisted with the vehicle recovery at the scene.
