WAUZEKA, Wis. — A two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on State Highway 60 near Hummingbird Lane in Crawford County left one vehicle overturned but resulted in no serious injuries, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

A police report states that Edward Pitzer, 60, of Wauzeka, was driving east and preparing to turn right when his vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by Wyatt Myers, 25, of Boscobel, Sheriff Dale McCullick said in a statement. The impact caused Myers’ vehicle to overturn.

Pitzer, Myers, and a child passenger in Myers’ vehicle were evaluated at the scene and did not require hospitalization, authorities said.

Myers was arrested and faces multiple charges, including operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance with a child passenger, operating with a suspended license, driving without insurance, and possession of THC.

Emergency responders from the Wauzeka Fire Department, Wauzeka First Responders, Boscobel Ambulance Service, and Terry’s Tire & Tow assisted at the scene.

Sparta Police issued a reminder that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
