Minor injuries as a result of two car crash on State Highway 56 near Viroqua

VIROQUA, Wis. – According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, July 23rd at 6:02 p.m. the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center received a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of State Highway 56 and North Ridge Road.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lindsay Haller, 30, of Rural Viroqua was traveling west on Highway 56. The report goes on to say Jon Uhlenhop, 50, of Lincolnwood ILL attempted to turn left from North Ridge Road, onto State highway 56 and collided with the Haller vehicle.

Haller reported minor injuries, and was transported to Gundersen Health Systems by private vehicle. Assisting the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office was; Genoa Fire, Genoa First Responders, and Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance.

This incident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office
