Assembly Rep. Tara Johnson announces Back-to-School tour of the 96th District elementary schools

MADISON, Wis. — For her first fall as State Representative of the 96th Assembly, Representative Tara Johnson (D-La Crosse) will be taking the opportunity to introduce herself to the fourth grade students she represents, as they begin their school year learning about state history and government, by going on a Back-to-School tour of all fifteen elementary schools in the beautiful 96th District. Representative Johnson will be making her way across the district on a 4-day tour beginning this Thursday, Sept. 25 and finishing on Tuesday, Sept. 30 that will take her all the way from La Crosse to Hillsboro and everywhere in between. 

“I’m excited for the opportunity to meet the students that live in my district, especially fourth graders who will be learning this school year about how their state government works for them, students who could one day grow up to become civic leaders themselves. It is such a privilege to tour these schools, speak with educators, and meet the students who represent the future of the 96th Assembly District.”
