Aronia Berries of Viroqua: A Story of Roots, Wellness, and Community

The McIntosh Memorial Library’s Meet Your Neighbor Program for December is scheduled for Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. in the library lobby. Join us for an inspiring presentation about aronia berries, a unique and powerful fruit that is making waves in the world of health and wellness.

“Aronia Berries of Viroqua: A Story of Roots, Wellness, and Community” will take attendees on a journey through the story of aronia berries—one of nature’s most nutrient-dense “ultra berries.” Learn how these berries are grown with care through regenerative farming practices right here in our community of Viroqua.

This event will highlight the many health benefits of Aronia, including its powerful antioxidants, and explore the innovative products being created from this amazing berry. Attendees will also hear about the deep connection between sustainable farming and wellness, along with personal reflections from the founders on growing up in Viroqua and how their roots inspire their commitment to promoting health and community.

Founded by a local physician and farming duo, Viroqua Aronia Co. is dedicated to blending regenerative farming with wellness innovation. The company is a leader in producing Aronia-based products that support health and build community. Rooted in Viroqua, the founders are passionate about giving back to their community while advancing wellness through nature’s bounty.
