41-year-old Soldiers Grove man arrested on drug related charges following traffic stop

SOLDIERS GROVE, Wis. – On Saturday, January 4, Sheriff Dale McCullick reports that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the Village of Soldiers Grove. The operator of the truck was identified as Ryan Volden, 41, of Soldiers Grove.

During the stop, K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances within the truck. A search of the truck was conducted and a hypodermic needle containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was discovered.

Volden was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and felony bail-jumping. Also, Volden was cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended, no insurance, non-registration, and numerous equipment violations.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Milo’s Towing Service.
