17-year-old in Adams County faces numerous charges related to 3D printing, converting of weapons

ADAMS COUNTY, Wis. – According to an Adams County Sheriff’s Office report investigators executed a search warrant on April 24 in the Town of Adams and uncovered a large number of illegal firearms and parts. Officials say the warrant was part of an investigation into the unlawful purchase and possession of fully-automatic firearms parts and accessories.

The search revealed numerous illegal items, including 3-D printed handguns without serial numbers, parts for converting firearms to fully-automatic, and a 3-D printer. Evidence processing is still ongoing.

The report states that Ayden R. Seeley-Siegert, 17, was arrested and charged with multiple firearms-related offenses. He posted a $2,000 cash bond and was released from jail.

The reports also states that part of the operation leading to this search warrant involved the controlled transfer of these parts while under law enforcement surveillance. The search warrant led to the discovery of firearms parts used to convert semi-automatic firearms into fully-automatic firearms including: 3-D printed handguns with no serial numbers, a 3-D printed stripped lower receiver for an AR-15, several hundred 3-D printed drop-in auto sears, 3-D printed Glock handgun switches, a fully assembled modified Glock handgun, gunsmithing tools, numerous gun parts, THC paraphernalia, a 3-D printer, and associated magazines and ammunition. At the time of this release, evidence processing is still ongoing.

Seeley-Siegert was arrested and charged in Adams County Circuit Court with Converting a Firearm to Fully-Automatic, Selling/Delivering/or Possessing a Firearms Silencer, and 10 counts of Selling/Possessing/Using/or Transporting Machine Guns. The investigation is on-going and more charges may be referred to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office in the future.

Seeley-Siegert had a bail hearing in Adams County Circuit Court Branch I on April 25, 2025 and was assigned a $2,000 cash bond. Seeley-Siegert has since posted bond and was released from the Adams County Jail. No further information will be released at this time.

The Adams County Sheriff Office was assisted by the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office and the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
