Viroqua, Wis – Get ready to groove to the rhythm of summer as
Live in Viroqua music series takes over downtown Viroqua.
Presented in front of the Historic Fortney Hotel on Court Street,
this free series of eight live music shows promises to ignite the
streets with unparalleled energy and unforgettable performances,
starting May 25th and continuing every other Saturday until
August 31st.
Featuring a diverse lineup of bands, local food vendors and
artisans, Live in Viroqua, going on it’s 3rd season, is set to be the
highlight of the summer season, bringing together music
enthusiasts of all ages for a celebration of community, culture,
and creativity.
“We are thrilled to bring Live in Viroqua to Court Street for its 3rd season,” said Justin Miller, Co-organizer and Fourthstream Vice President. “This series is not just about the music; it’s about fostering a sense of community and connection. We invite everyone to join us for a summer filled with incredible music and memories.”
Highlighted performances include:
May 25 – DeeOhGee: Kick off the summer with the infectious beats of DeeOhGee, delivering a fusion of hip-hop, funk, and soul guaranteed to get you moving. Maygen and The Birdwatcher supports.
June 8 – High Mileage (sponsored by the Viroqua Area Foundation) is Southwest Wisconsin’s favorite cover band who bring their recognizable melodies and irresistible dance songs including your favorite 80’s rock to modern pop and everything in between.
June 22 – Kiss the Tiger: Let the electrifying energy of Kiss the Tiger sweep you off your feet with their powerful vocals and rock ”n’ roll swagger, delivering a performance you won’t soon forget. Wurk supports.
July 6 – Adam Greuel and The Space Burritos: Prepare for a cosmic journey with Adam Greuel and The Space Burritos as they blend psychedelic sounds with rootsy Americana, creating a musical experience that transcends time and space. Run for the Roses supports.
July 20th – Jaedyn James: Prepare to be dazzled by the soulful sounds and electrifying stage presence of Jaedyn James as she takes center stage to deliver a performance that will leave you
wanting more. Elour supports.
August 3 – Heatbox: Get ready for a one-of-a-kind performance as Heatbox brings his beatboxing prowess to the streets, creating intricate rhythms and infectious grooves using only his voice and a loop station. Smokin’ Bandits support.
August 17th – The Claudettes: Get ready to be transported to a world of musical innovation and creativity as The Claudettes will show the band’s mastery of every era of American music, from
the roots of the blues to today’s modern pop. Horace Green supports.
August 31 – Eric Tessmer: Close out the summer with the soulful tunes of Eric Tessmer, his award winning version of blues-rock and dynamic vocals promise to leave a lasting impression, marking the perfect end to a season of unforgettable music. Joe and Vicki Price support.

Each show will take place in front of the Historic Fortney Hotel, with gates opening at 5pm and music starting at 6pm. Admission is free, offering the perfect opportunity for music lovers of all ages to come together and enjoy the best that Viroqua has to offer. Beverages and local food will be on site for purchase.

About Fourthstream: A passionate group of cultural entrepreneurs and community event organizers utilize Fourthstream, a local arts, culture & live music mission oriented non-profit organization, to put on events such as Live in Viroqua – a series of 8 shows – in downtown Viroqua in the summer, as well as Driftless Music Festival, a one-day festival, going on it’s 12th year in Eckhart Park in the heart of Viroqua.
